Account & Data Deletion
How to permanently delete your Gyeongo account and all associated data.
Option 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)
- Open Gyeongo app and log in
- Navigate to Settings (sidebar or tab bar)
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
- Type the confirmation phrase → Permanently Delete

Option 2: Request via Email
If you can't access the app, you can request deletion by email.
Subject: Gyeongo account deletion request
Include:
· The email address you signed up with
· Verification info (name or business name from signup)
We process requests within 7 business days.
Data That Will Be Deleted
All of the following data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
- Account info (email, password, username)
- Profile (name, phone, business details)
- All estimates and client-specific history
- Customer records and notes
- Projects and progress logs
- Uploaded job photos (Supabase Storage)
- Portfolio page (public URL deactivated)
- Reviews and ratings received
- Material price data
Data Retained by Legal Obligation
Payment records are retained for 5 years per Korean e-commerce and tax law, and identity-verification logs for 3 months per Communications Privacy Act, in a separate anonymized system used only for statistics and legal compliance.
